Electrix currently has vacancies for a number of experienced Cable Jointer’s with experience in a large Distribution Network for its Auckland operations. There are many opportunities for personal growth and development. Your main duties will be to carry out the repair and installation of LV, HV and EHV underground cable within the level of qualification and WTC authority level held, and to identify technical problems that occur outside of standard operating procedures.
Skills Required: •Certification and / or evidence of technical jointing skills and WTC to match the joint work to be undertaken. •Sound understanding of technical, regulatory and safety issues related to the electrical supply industry. •Hands-on experience and jointing skills on a distribution network. •A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements. •To ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance are achieved. •Hold appropriate drivers licence
