Electrix is a dynamic and fast growing organisation and a leading Australasian electrical industry contractor, which has a strong track record and reputation for safety, quality, and integrity.
Electrix have been successful in securing the contract as the Service Provider for Vector’s Western and Northern Networks as part of Vector’s ‘Project Crossroads’. The geographic area for this contract is from New Lynn through to Helensville and North of the Harbour Bridge through to Wellsford.
Electrix Albany is need of experienced Faultmen to join their successful team.

Key responsibilities include:
•Responding to, assessing and attending to all assigned service requests within service levels.
•Performing high voltage switching and isolation of plant
•Carrying out repair and maintenance work to enable recording of network equipment that is not safe or functional
•Ensuring that vehicles and allocated equipment are well presented and maintained
•Working to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) and Electrix operational and quality processes
•Completing all required paperwork and records within specified timeframes
Qualities required:
•Ability to work in emergency situations
•Meeting customer and business partner expectations in a changing and demanding contracting environment
•Coordinating and communicating with Dispatch to ensure all reactive work is completed as efficiently as possible
•Meeting Technical requirements of the role plus have the ability to complete all paperwork accurately within required timeframes
•Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Qualifications required:
•Qualified and registered line mechanic
•Switching training and experience
•Heavy vehicle licence (minimum requirement class 2)
•Desirable to have recently held Faultmen network warrants and Transpower switching
•Ability to live and work in New Zealand via a relevant work permit
